Gabby Petito's Disappearance & Death (Case of Gaby Petito)

The FBI says that its investigation into the case of Gabby Petito, the woman who went missing September, 11th, is finally coming to a close.

Petito was reported missing in September of 2021 by her family, after going on a road trip with her fiancé Brian Laundrie

Laundrie, returned to he and Petito's home in Florida alone and refused to speak to the FL police, before, disappearing which began a weeklong search for him.

Whilst the search for  Laundrie was still under way, officials in Wyoming stumbled upon Petito's remains and the coroner ruled her COD (Cause Of Death) to be strangulation.

After authorities combed through the 25,000- acre reserve in Florida, they formally announced that they had found Laundrie's remains. Brian's cause of death is said to be suicide. Authorities also announced that they had found Laundrie's notebook, which Laundrie claimed responsibility for Petito's death.

In August 2021, the police recalled an encounter with both Petito & Laundrie in Utah. The two were described as having a physical fight after a verbal argument.
Following an officers suggestion, the two decided to split up for the night.

In a 911 call provided by the Grand County Sheriff's office, a caller reports to dispatch that he wanted to report a domestic fight and described Petito's vehicle.

The called said that they were driving by and witnessed, "the gentleman slapping the girl."

"Then, we stopped," the called added to his statement. "They ran up and down the sidewalk. He proceeded to hit her, hopped in the car and they drove off."
